Participating Schools in PH

1. Kariton Open High School

Through Efren Peñaflorida and his team's mission of reaching out and extending help to the communities, Kariton Open High School has been launched in 2012. Since then, the school continually caters students from Grades 7-12 who were dropped or stopped from attending school due to fluctuating grades, bullying and financial incapability. It aims to keep students in conflict in the learning environment through a modular curriculum designed by the Philippine department of Education.

Due to the current environmental issues, Kariton Open High School advocates and teaches the students to be environmental friendly through limited usage of papers, recycling materials into arts and crafts and letting them experience first hand the joy of protecting the earth for the future generation. Hence, this workshop would be a very helpful tool not just for the representatives but for the school to be more knowledgeable and capable of protecting the earth and raising awareness of it's current state.

2. The Raya School

The Raya School is a progressive school dedicated to helping your children discover themselves, their roots and the world around them. The name ‘raya’ comes from the Malay word ‘rajah,’ which connotes nobility. We implement a curriculum focused on a love for Reading, an inclination towards Science and a strong sense of country. We provide a school environment especially designed to be fun & intellectually engaging. We also utilize a discovery-based, child-centered and play oriented curriculum. We expose children to Filipino cultural artifacts. And we are the laboratory school of Adana House, the country’s first and largest publisher of educational children’s books.

Like the Tsunagari Project, we also believe that children/teenagers will have a big contribution in solving issues in a global scale. We gear towards continuous development not only for ourselves but also for others, so we can be catalysts for improvement, social transformation and global sustainability.

3. Paranaque Science High School

ParSci is a special science high school catering to the best students of Parañaque City. It is mainly focused on delivering Science oriented subjects with other academic subjects as well. It is main goal is to hone future leaders in the field of Science.

4. Morong National High School

Morong National High School is a public secondary school located in Hilltop, Morong, Bataan. It caters 1385 students who came from the different barangays in the town of Morong. It was headed by Mrs. Gemma Teresa P. Cabreros.

Since environment awareness and protection is one of the projects of Science, saying YES to your invitation is big pleasure to all of us. Creating videos through modern technology increases our desire to join. And above all, it will enhance the skills and knowledge of our students not only in the scientific perspective but also in the ethical side.

5. Assumption Antipolo

Assumption Antipolo is a Catholic apostolate that aims at the integral formation of persons and communities who witness to the love of Jesus Christ and are committed to work for the extension of God's Kingdom. It provides basic education that aims to Christianize the intelligence of students who are well prepared for college and are committed to justice, peace, solidarity, and care for God's creation. Assumption Antipolo's education also provides a well-balanced foundation for Academic Excellence as knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values are given primary importance.

6. KEYS School

Keys School Manila, a progressive school in Mandaluyong City, is home to very talented young individuals trained to meet with the demands of 21st Century learning. The students of KSM are exposed to different trends in education particularly in the field of visual, performing and practical arts. In line with this, an invitation was sent to KSM-Via in an event, entitled, “Picture Happiness on Earth” TSUNAGARI Project. This will be a very good venue for the students of KSM to enhance their video editing skills while learning for a good cause. KSM is looking forward to sending its students to the said event in the hopes of adding new knowledge and skills amongst its students.
